The conditions
The extended terms depend on registration within the required window and, for the longest cover, installation by an installer meeting Vaillant's scheme requirements, plus annual servicing. The gap between standard and extended cover is large — a 2-year ecoFIT pure can become a 10-year boiler when the conditions are met, which is why who installs it matters.
Glow-worm: same group, different terms
Glow-worm is part of the Vaillant Group. Its Energy range carries 7 years extendable to 10 with conditions, and the Ultimate3 runs 5 years extendable to 10. Solid terms at lower prices than the Vaillant badge.
