Baxi's warranty ladder — 400 series to 5 years, 600 to 7, 800 to 10 — and why registration matters more with Baxi than most.
From our manufacturer research:
Baxi's standard term is just 1 year — the shortest base among the brands we stock. The registered terms are genuinely good (up to 10 years on the 800), but an unregistered Baxi is a one-year boiler. When we supply and fit a Baxi, registration is part of the installation, not an afterthought.
The 800 is the pick for long-term ownership — 10 years registered at a mid-range price. The 600 suits tighter budgets with a respectable 7 years. The 400 is a rental-property or short-term answer. As always: annual servicing keeps every term valid.
10 years when registered within the required window and serviced annually. Unregistered, the standard term is 1 year.
The 600 and 800 series offer strong registered warranties at mid-range prices. The key with Baxi is making sure the registration actually happens — the standard term is only 1 year.
