Single split
One indoor unit, one outdoor unit, one room. The standard choice for a bedroom, living room or home office.
Multi split
Two to five indoor units sharing a single outdoor unit — fewer condensers on the wall, one pipe route to plan.
Cassette and ducted
Recessed into a ceiling for offices, shops and open-plan spaces where a wall unit isn't wanted.

Standard single splits are usually a one-day job
A wall unit, a condenser outside, a short pipe run in trunking and a commissioning test. Where the route is longer, the condenser has to go on a roof or there's no gravity drain, we survey first and price it properly rather than adjusting the bill on the day.
