Consumer credit
BritOne Air does not currently offer, arrange or introduce consumer credit, and is not a credit broker or lender. Any monthly figure shown anywhere on this site is an illustration of spreading a total across months, not an offer of finance. If we introduce a regulated finance product in future, the lender, APR, representative example and our regulatory status will be published here first.
When we take payment
Equipment ordered through the shop is paid in full at checkout so we can allocate stock. Installation labour and materials are invoiced after the work is completed and handed over. Gas work is carried out by UK Gas Plumbers Limited and follows the same terms.
Quotes and price validity
A quote produced by the builder is held for 14 days from the date it is generated. Where the job triggers a survey, the figure shown is a design price and is confirmed — up, down or unchanged — in writing after the survey. We will not start work on a changed price without your agreement.
VAT
The VAT rate applied to your job is shown on the quote before you book. Qualifying residential supply-and-fit of reverse-cycle equipment is zero-rated under the current energy-saving materials relief, legislated to 31 March 2027. Commercial work, supply-only orders, servicing and repairs are standard-rated. This is a summary of our practice, not tax advice.
Cancellation and deposits
Consumer contracts agreed off-premises or at distance carry the statutory 14-day cancellation right, subject to the usual exceptions for goods made to order and for work you have asked us to begin within the period. Full cancellation and returns terms are in our consumer terms and returns policy.
