Boiler finance and paying for a new boiler

The honest options for spreading the cost of a new boiler, what cheap installation offers really mean, and how our deposit works.

The realistic ways to pay

  • Pay in full — the simplest and cheapest overall
  • Deposit plus balance on completion — how our own installations work: 20% reserves your date, the rest when the job is done
  • Consumer finance — spreads the cost over months or years; compare the APR against the total repayable, not the monthly figure
  • 0% credit card — if you can clear it in the interest-free window, often the cheapest borrowing available

What 'cheap boiler installation' ads usually mean

A headline figure hundreds of pounds below everyone else is almost always one of three things: the boiler only (no labour), a stripped installation with no flush, filter or commissioning, or a lead-in price that grows at survey. Ask what the figure includes before comparing it.

How our payment works

Fitted installations: a 20% deposit reserves your installation date and the balance is due on completion — you do not pay in full for work that has not happened. Supply-only shop orders are paid at checkout and delivered within the stated lead time.

A note on grants

Government-backed schemes for boiler replacement exist but are narrowly targeted — mostly at low-income households moving off the least efficient heating. We do not administer grant schemes and will not imply your quote is subsidised when it is not.

Common questions

Do you offer boiler finance?

Our standard terms are a 20% deposit with the balance on completion for fitted work. We do not currently offer in-house finance plans.

Why is one company's quote so much cheaper?

Check what is included: flush, filter, commissioning, Benchmark and warranty registration. A quote missing those is not the same job.
